It is important to undertake the required maintenance for your artificial lawn to keep it fresh and long lasting. Artificial grass is LOW maintenance not NO maintenance! Yes you are rid of the tedious mowing but keeping your artificial grass clean is crucial in ensuring the longevity of the lawn. Our maintenance service has been designed to allow the professionals to do the hard work for you, giving you more valuable time to spend relaxing and enjoying your garden.
Our maintenance service is recommended at least once a year to give your lawn a full refresh. How often you should take this service out depends entirely on the usage of the lawn. Your artificial lawn is a big investment which is why it is important to look after it by taking out a maintenance service with us. Whether you have had normal artificial grass installed by us or K9 Turf, we have a maintenance service to suit your needs!
WEED SPRAY OUT
The weed spray out is to prevent any pesky weeds from coming up from the ground beneath. It also prevents any air born seeds planting and growing weeds.
DEEP CLEAN
The lawn will then undertake a deep clean. If you have had K9 Turf installed the team will use a specialist enzyme cleaner which kills bacteria and gets rid of any odour produced from pet urine.
CONDITION
The team will then use a specialist artificial grass conditioner on the lawn to give it that soft touch finish. This will get rid of any roughness caused from general wear and tear, making it safe for the entire family to use.
MECHANICAL BRUSH UP
The lawn will then be mechanically brushed up to rectify any areas that may have become flattened due to usage.
Pet Maintenance
The more often your dogs use the lawn the more often it will need cleaning.
These guidelines are based on the dogs using the lawn twice daily.
Remember: Prevention is easier than resetting the lawn.
If your dogs use the lawn as a toilet and the required maintenance is not adhered to, this will result in your lawn beginning to smell. Especially in warmer weather. If this is not remedied, the only solution is a full reset of the installation.
