When installing artificial grass, creating a solid yet porous subbase is the most important part in ensuring the longevity of the lawn. SUB-BASE
Once all turf has been removed and the surface is levelled, we install a base of MOT Type 1 hardcore which is compacted to create a solid, durable surface that will ensure the lawn stays in place.
DRAINAGE SYSTEM
Creating a durable drainage system is the most important aspect when installing artificial grass. A poor drainage system can result in a build up of moisture which can rot the grass and create movement of the grass. We use a specialist granite dust up to a depth of 25mm depending on site conditions. Granite dust is a strong yet porous material which allows moisture to flow through freely unlike sand which absorbs moisture.
WEED MEMBRANE
We use a quality weed control fabric to help prevent weeds coming through the artificial lawn. This can be laid underneath the drainage system or on top depending on site conditions.

Installing artificial turf is a lot more technical than it may seem. There are many techniques to creating the most aesthetically pleasing artificial lawn and we believe our team have mastered the best installation techniques in the industry. We ensure we use the best products for joining seams and installing edging to ensure the lawn looks as natural as possible

It is important to remember that artificial grass is LOW maintenance, not NO maintenance! Maintenance is required for artificial grass to ensure that it lasts for as long as it should.
